It appears to be a real mix. I've seen some sites that do and others that appear to list their properties directly through the site.

I might be 'barking up the wrong tree' and I'm not particularly invested in the idea so a feedback is useful.

Hi everyone!

I'm a web developer, based in the UK, and have been contacted by a couple of realtors asking for help with a property listing tool for their website.

It seems to be a common problem for realtors but digging through the forums here I've noticed that there seems to be a range of opinions as to whether or not this is actually a good idea.

I'm aware that there might be 'off-the-shelf' solutions or less than ideal solutions that you can clobber together via a WordPress plugin or using blog posts but I wondered if the market could be better served with a dedicated solution to this problem...if it exists!

Any thoughts?
