I was told that If you own your rental under an LLC in NJ, you have to use a lawyer to file the eviction paperwork. Is this true?

I was just told by another investor that if you buy a house to flip or rent in NJ under your LLC, you have to hire contractors to pull permits. He said they won't let you work on your own house, even if you own the LLC that you bought it under. Has anyone else run into this?
