@Marvin McTaw

I came across this post looking for good high end contractors in Atlanta. Did you end up finding someone? I remember you welcomed me to BP recently, so it's good to see you again!

Without knowing more about the house/area, my initial thought is the kitchen. Having a 2:1 ratio for bed:bath doesn't sound appealing to me. Kitchens are always huge selling points too. I'm no veteran to this but these are just my thoughts. Good luck!

Wow, BP seems to be a pretty active community. Thanks for all the welcomes, everyone!

@Dmitriy Fomichenko, thank you for the advice. I'm digging into the beginner's guide right now.

@Julie Toh, I'd love to talk about the ATL market with you, I'll message you.

@Lynn Angus, congratulations on your engagement! The Decatur area seems like a good spot for the first time home buyer market. Young families seem to love the area.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. This is my first day on BP and I already feel like I've learned so much from the forums. I look forward to seeing you two around the site.

Hi everyone, I'm Jonathan. I live in Atlanta and own a personal training company in Midtown. Although I like what I do, I constantly find myself listening to the BP podcasts between clients, researching properties, and driving around ATL for hours every weekend looking at houses.

My fiancee and I have finally decided to take the plunge in REI, specifically fix & flips. We're young and extremely excited to learn as much as possible about this new endeavor. Our goal is to end up as one of the big players in the ATL REI scene. But first, we need to get started.
