Just curious how your experience has been with them?  I understand that their properties are sold "as is."  Will they write contracts with a contingency for inspection?  I am okay with "as is," I just want to be able to fully understand what I am taking on with a purchase up front before I lose deposit.

I have been investing in real estate since 2012.  I have 3 rental properties and I am looking to expand this.  Looking to be more educated by this community and add what I have learned over the last years on my own.

I am wondering how other BiggerPocket members have protected their personal assets from their investment properties. I set up an LLC for a couple properties I owned outright. I have another property which has a personal mortgage on it which I currently rent out. I wanted to move the property into the LLC but I am finding that the banks I have contacted will not refinance it under the LLC or allow for a transfer of the current mortgage into the LLC. I am worried about the liability of having tenants in a property that is in my personal name.

How do other members go about financing multiple properties?  I would like to take advantage of leverage in having mortgages but feel that it would present liability for me down the road.

Any ideas would help.
