I do not know the exact numbers but I was told the fees were minimal, I guess that could mean anything. Electricity and wifi are billed seperarly to the slip.

That's what I was thinking. 

my concern is that it will be less lucrative and the numbers would not add up with an investment like that...

This topic was covered back in 2007 but it is very interesting to me. Here in Northern Virginia I can purchase a condo boat slip for around $30,000 for a 35x14 slip which would rent for $3000 a year. Association fees are minimal. What's the general consensus on boat slips.
