Thanks for the response. I have a rooter service scheduled to check the pipes. Hiring a structural engineer is  a good tip.

I am in the process of purchasing a 110 year old house. Ive never purchases anything this old, but the numbers work very well. Does anyone have advice? Things to look out for? Deal breakers?

More about the property:
Stone foundation with basement. Updated electric, plumbing, appliances. forced air. needs A LOT of cosmetic work. Inspection scheduled in a few days.
