Thanks for the warm welcome, Jonathan! I actually looked into 2-4 unit properties when I first got here, but they were tough to find, and the ones I did come across were snapped up quickly by all-cash buyers. I’m actually preparing to leave the area and sell my house, but I still plan to house hack in one of the locations I mentioned in my original post. I have family in those areas and am already somewhat familiar with then , so it feels like the right move. I appreciate the resources you shared—I’ll definitely check them out!
I’m still active duty , but my contract is ending soon, and I may go reserves while transitioning into real estate.
I love hearing about your work with service members getting into out-of-state investments! I’d appreciate the podcast you mentioned to learn more about your process.

My name is Joscelyn , and I’m excited to join this amazing platform! I’ve been interested in real estate for a while now, and after hearing about all the incredible resources and support here, I knew I had to get involved.
A little about me:
• I’m currently based in Tucson, Arizona, and I’m looking to start investing in real estate and expand my knowledge in the field. At the moment, I’m focusing on investing in Chicago, Indiana, and Wisconsin( Madison and surrounding areas).
• My background is in healthcare, and I’m currently working in logistics in the Air Force.
• I'm particularly interested in the BRRR strategy, buy-and-hold, and house hacking.
