Quote from @Roger Von Urff:

Hi Stephen, We just started working with a property manager in Albany, So far so good. Msg me and I'll let you know the details.

Hi Roger, I hope this message finds you well. I saw your response from a previous post, about 4 years ago,  of someone looking for a property manager in the Albany NY area.

I wanted to know are you still working with the property manager that you mentioned that you had. I am looking for a property manager for a few properties that I have in the Albany/Troy area. If you are still working with that property manager and he is reliable and honest, would you mind providing his contact info.

Thank you!

Hi Sasha,

@Sasha Mohammed Thank you for your response, it is very helpful. I do not intend on living in the property, as this is a straight investment. Both unit rents will cover the mortgage and provide a substantial amount of cash flow. Based on what you mentioned about the Non-QM DSCR, it seems like this property would fit the bill. I never heard of this type of financing option before but will do some research to see if I could apply and be approved for it.

Thank you again

Hi All,

So, I'm looking to purchase investment propert #4, which is a duplex. The issue I have is that I am self employed and with the last investment property we purchased we had to put down 25% using a DSCR loan.

Being that we don’t have 25% to put down on another property, we could swing 5% - 10%, but want to know how I would be able to qualify.

I appreciate any and all advice/tips. Thank you!

Hello all,

I am looking to invest in multifamily properties in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I currently invest in NY but am looking to embark into the Texas market. I am not that familiar with the top area to invest in Dallas/Ft Worth. I would appreciate connecting with any investors/realtors in the area that could steer me in the right areas/neighborhoods.

Thank You!

@Scott Wolf Thanks for responding. So, based on the comps in the area we are looking at an ARV of $185K - $200K. The property is located in Watervliet, NY. I will be bringing $25K to the table. After the rehab we are looking to hold and rent, then do a refi- csh out. Basically BRRR it. This will be my first experience using hard money if I find a lender.

Hi,

In the process of purchasing a duplex for $125K, which needs about $40K of rehab work. Very solid ARV! I am seeking to find a hard lender to help complete this deal or get a conventional mortgage. Any help or suggestions is welcomed. Thank You!
