Good afternoon everyone!

My wife and I currently invest in RE by flipping properties and have a couple rentals. We live in Virginia Beach and we’re hoping to connect with anyone in the area that does RAL. My wife is a nurse and wants to fully invest her time in RAL locally. We feel we can provide a great home for seniors.

Since we have the contacts, contractors and are living in the area, we feel this is the best place for us to start. We have a decent understanding of the space, but are ready to take the next step and start looking to purchase a property.

Does anyone know of some investor friendly contractors in the Blue Ridge area? Possibly looking to flip or upgrade our current STR there.

Hey BP,

I’m in the process of closing a duplex currently in the Portsmouth area. One side was renovated last year and the other hasn’t been touched for a long time. Both sides are currently rented and it will be cash flowing well. Plan is to not renew the lease with the side that needs work. It will be my first deal and I’m hoping to gain the experience of rehabbing while the other door of the duplex covers all the other expenses. 

 If anyone has a solid contractor that they could recommend, I would really appreciate it!
