Hey guys, my brother and I are looking for our first investment property. We are interested in house-hacking a SGL family home somewhere in California. The overall Q we had was what make a home a good house hack? Number of bedrooms & location? Is there something that new investors like myself fail to consider when house-hacking? Also what are some of the pitfalls?

My brother & I both dropped out of College & attended a programming bootcamp during the pandemic. We are both working as Software Engineers now -- looking back it now, it was the best decision we've ever made. I'm all for trade schools -- fast, affordable, & you start learning the trade immediately in most instances. If you do decide to go to College I'd suggest pursuing a career that requires you to go to college like Doctor, Lawyer, etc ...
