Hi BP folks, I want to ask the locals about investing in Gastonia NC, where are the good area/subdivision for multi-family investments? I saw a couple deals around 28052 zip code but not sure if it's feasible to buy properties there.

Hi I am a serious and well educated real estate investor in Charlotte North Carolina area, I have steady W2 job income but at the same time doing buy and hold projects on the side. Right now I am in the process of expanding my real estate portfolio and I am looking for private money lender who could be my partnership in the long run.

Right now I have a couple rental properties in SC, all of them are rented and producing cash flow, considering high investment property tax in SC, I want to gradually buy properties in NC, my goal is to get 3 deals a year.

Hi BP folks, I have a situation like this: 1. I have 3 rental properties in SC 2. I am considering hiring my retired parent to help with my business so that I could properly deduct those expenses Shall I form an LLC at this point, or any other legal entities? Can I transfer all my investment properties from my name to the legal properties in this case so that I will be legally protected?

Hi BP folks, Did anyone ever try to use HELOC or home equity loan to finance their buy and hold properties? I am thinking about pulling out equity from my primary residence, I am wondering if this is kind of too aggressive.

Hi BP Folks,

Considering high properties tax rate and operation cost for rental properties in SC, what can you do to maximize your portfolio ROI in this area? I have a couple of rental properties in SC but the taxes for each of them is eating a lot of my profit, while I start to consider transitioning my investment portfolio to NC (which is more investor friendly), I am wondering anyone has any idea what to do about it. Thank you and happy investing!

Johnny

Hi everyone, I am looking for any portfolio lender who could serve NC/SC area, I bought two properties from traditional lender but the process is just not as good as expected. But anyway, I am looking for getting my third property this year and I try to find other options to raise money besides traditional lender. Thanks.

Hey Sue, yeah Excel is still pretty good though, I used Excel most of the time. What kind of features you want most if you switch to other solutions by the way?
