Thank you for your answers, since the options seem to be so dependent on the company and market areas, it would be great if we could have postings from personal experiences on re-sales of turnkey properties in different markets and with different companies, to give us a better idea of the risks and players involved, thank you again!

Thank you Chris, I understand the goal is not to buy and sell right away, just thinking about all the possible contingencies. This is not a topic that I have seen discussed much in turnkey websites so it is informative to know that turnkey companies might be willing to help investors in this scenario, I guess it is up to the investor to do due diligence and ask the turnkey companies how would they assist in the process and what profit margin they would want to make when reselling the property.

Thank you Mark, how would financing help, you would still be freezing the downpayment, granted it would be less than full cash price but you still would need to resell to recoup it. My concern is how easy it is to resell turnkeys when usually they are in areas with high foreclosure rates and also competition from the turnkey companies for the newer properties comparable to the one you would own.

Hello, I am considering purchasing turnkey rentals from reputed companies like MemphisInvest (Memphis) or Profitfromrentals (Chicago), however I still do not see or understand what exit  strategies they offer in case I wanted to recover my equity investment (I know the goal is passive income, but it is always good to have an exit option should you need it), usually these properties are in city areas where their market price is higher than the median around, and if I wanted to resell them it would probably be hard to do so, or I would be competing with the same companies selling their own turnkeys in the area. In either case it seems hard to recoup your investment should you want to, does anyone have any experience or advice on this? Thank you very much!
