Hi Community, I have a residential home in a quite neighborhood that we bought about 10 years ago. We are trying to turn our basement which has a living area, loundery room, 1 bath, 1 bedroom into an apartment for grad students. I can add its own private entrance and a kitchenette eventually. This is my first experience trying to do this. I was wondering if anyone has good advises on how to start. Good books to read? Or even just a point me into the right direction could do greatness.
