yeah, this horsehoe road is not a mobiel home park per say, i thin they all own the lots, like 1 acre lots....anyhow, probably best to keep it for mobile home lots. I need to see what it is zoned for.

Let me add some info...during this pandemic the one tennant who HASNT paid in 9 mnths isn't on section 8. I've been getting checks deposited each month for the section 8 tennants.....something to think about.

Hello all, so I have 4 acres in NC, it is near Ft Bragg. Its on a dirt road (its a horsehoe road) and my 4 acres are right at the top of this horseshoe. I bought this back in 2007 (sight unseen well my family went to see it). Long story short I am doing absolutely nothing with it. Mobile homes are on this road...and the dirt road is kinda impassable at this point to get to my 4 acres. The county only maintains like the first 100 yards onto this road. Anyhow so I have tried to sell briefly several yrs ago and it didn't pan out. So what can I possibly do with it to make money? The 4 acres are not cleared and the road would have to be paved or something to get to it. I'm trynna make lemonade out of a lemon here. I mean 4 acres can have a lot of property on it, like several duplexes or idk. I just hate to not do anything with it.

I have a property on Section 8. Its just like any other property. Have a solid lease. I write in a visit every 6 mnths. But just cause its section 8 doesnt mean they will trash it or you have no recourse. Most are good tennants as they dont want to be removed from the program. If they dont have all of the downpayment, maybe write it up to where they pay monthly. But GET IT IN WRITING! That has nothing to do with section 8, its the tennant on the deposit. Its a guarenteed deposit every mnth and I dont have to chase the tennat.

Hi Sandra. Is this only for wholesalers? I am trying to network and meet some wholesalers in the area...

Absolutely yes to prenump. Things change and often get nasty when divorce comes into the picture REGARDLESS of what you may think.

Thanks Douglas, that is wonderful news.  I reached out to 2 banks several yrs ago and was told the property had to be appraised of at least 50k...I should have kept trying.
