I’m leaning towards finding something in west palm. I prefer having my own unit but don’t mind renting out rooms either. Anything will work for me, I just want to land my first deal/househack in that area!

I prefer living in the west palm area and having my own unit. Therefore I was favoring more towards a multifamily but I will now have to consider SFH's with a mother in law suite. First time hearing about it so thanks for the tip! I wouldn't mind SFH and renting out rooms either, I just want to get my first deal/househack done :)

Hello BP community, I am 24years old and currently live in brevard county (Melbourne,FL).I am just starting out on my investing journey and plan to house hack for my first deal. I've been practicing analyzing multifamily and SFH properties in my market, and also in orlando and west palm beach. Any advice on which areas are best for the type of property to house hack? Any tips on how to study these markets?

Hello investors, my name is Justin, I am 24 year old college student located in Florida. I am just starting out in my REI journey and plan to house hack for my very first deal. So my question is, after reading Brandon turners "the book on investing in RE with no and low money down" and Scott trenchs "set for life", should I fund my first property using a fha loan or save enough money for a 20% down, or does that solely depend on the deal itself? Is there a better route between the two for my first? I currently live with my parents and have a w2. My goal is to land my first deal in the next 6months or sooner if possible. Another question I have is what is some advice for finding my first deal? Should I contact a local real estate agent in my area?
