I am now looking to acquire the property myself and not pursue the position I had in NY.
Cheers,
No specific price range at the moment but I am looking for preferably a 3/2 around 1300 square feet.
I would like to start with relatively small properties so I can get acclimated to the building codes down here.
Respectfully,
Great Day,
I am new a investor in Columbia, SC and would love to connect with some local contractors. If you have any recommendations on any contractors or construction crews you have worked with in the Midlands area then would definitely love your input. Also, as a recent local of Columbia, SC I am not familiar with the logistics of pulling permits in this city. As there are different counties such as: City of Columbia, Lexington, and Richland, do all of these counties have different application processes? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
Wishing everyone a lucrative future~
Greetings and Salutations to my fellow entrepreneurs and like minded individuals,
I have migrated from the Big Apple (NYC) and landed in the city nicknamed arguably after the greatest soda of all time.
I worked as an Office Manager for a Real Estate Investor in NYC so I do have a plethora of knowledge on the buying and acquisition side; however, my experience is lackluster on the construction side. I am now looking to purchase distressed properties with my own capital in Columbia, SC. Taking this first step to building my own portfolio definitely won't be easy but I am grateful there is a community like BP. Please reach out if you'd like to connect, would love to meet/network with anyone and everyone who is in the nearby area.
