Do you have a mailing list for your local REIA? Sometimes there will be a website with member info, that way you don't have to wait for the next meeting.

Also, you can obviously post your deals on this site. If the deal is good enough, you may find an out of state buyer right here on BP willing to do the deal.

Craigslist would be good for responses, the problem is most of those won't be cash buyers, which you'll need.

Anyone ever wholesale to someone obtaining a mortgage? I know FHA is out because of seasoning, maybe that would be a whole other topic.

J Scott,

You didn't answer my question so I'll ask again:

I don't see a poll out there that asked the question. Do you have one that says the opposite?

Do you know of any homes in your area that are being rehabbed right now? If so, id stop by while the workers are there and ask if the owner is around. If you do find the owner just talk to him and see what he's doing with the property, he may be flipping it and looking for more deals.

Your local REIA is a great place too, I'd bring flyers to the next meeting.

Can you provide any supporting evidence to your statement that most pro-lifers are conservative in their other beliefs? I can't find any statistical data, so I'm curious where your idea that "most" are conservative comes from.

How about ALL pro-lifers that I know are conservative. Yes I said ALL. I don't see a poll out there that asked the question. Do you have one that says the opposite?

Btw, all my research has indicated that up until a couple decades ago, nearly all left-leaning women were pro-life, and even now, many, many people who claim to be liberal in other aspects of their political belief are pro-life.

And "all your research" consists of what? The entire country is leaning pro-life. What are you talking about when you say up until a couple decades ago they were leaning pro-life? Are you implying that the left leaning women are now leaning pro-choice? Not sure I'm understanding that comment, please clarify.

Do you know [i] that is happy with Obama? I'd love to talk to them and see exactly what he's doing that they're so happy about. I have not seen a poll that says one way or the other but I suppose I could sit around, collect un-employment, welfare and every other gov. handout like the other Obama supporters and do the research to prove you wrong but I'll opt to laugh it off and run my business for now.

Hmmm...according to my research, less than 1/2 of a percent of the eligible population has bought their first gun since Obama was elected (certainly, many gun owners have bought additional guns, but that's not the point of your comment).

Gotta love it, you call everyone out saying there is no "Data" to support what they are saying and then in your next comment talk about your what your "research" shows. Where exactly are you doing this "research" and where is the "Data" to support your comments?

Do you have any evidence to support your claim that gun ownership is spreading like crazy? Or any statistical data to support that my .5% number is off?

YES I do. How about this, from a LIBERAL newspaper too:

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/outposts/2009/03/have-you-recent.html

And another:

http://wcbstv.com/topstories/gun.sales.president.2.862716.html

You took my comment out of context and now it makes no sense. I'll be happy to revisit this later, for now we'll deal with your other bs.

Most people in this country listen to the media and do not do their own research to figure out what is really going on

I absolutely 100% agree, and until you can provide some data to support some of the things you said above, I'm going to assume that you are part of this group.

First off, we can have a debate all day long but don't EVER assume that I am part of "this group" that listens to the left wing media. That too me is an insult, debate like an adult and I'll continue, but insult and I'll go on about my business rather then say what I would like to and get kicked off this forum. I respect the forum and don't care to hear someone try and trash me or anyone else on here. Bring the facts or stop posting.

J Scott,

I know that Obama got elected and all but I completely disagree with your comment that most of the country is liberal. If people knew exactly how liberal that guy was I don't think he would have gotten elected.

I can't remember the % of Pro-Life voters that voted for Obama, (lots of whom regret voting for him) but for the most part anyone that is Pro-Life is not going to have liberal beliefs.

On top of that, gun ownership is spreading like a southern california wild fire and I don't think Liberal's are the ones going out and buying guns and ammo.

I think the country is in the middle or perhaps more conservative, meanwhile the politicians keep going farther and farther left. If you talk to people about issues only without saying anything about a political party you'll find that most people will agree with a conservative point of view. I tested some liberal friends with exactly that and they agreed with almost every conservative idea we talked about yet they voted for Obama. Go figure.

Most people in this country listen to the media and do not do their own research to figure out what is really going on, if they did they would have figured out that we don't really know anything about Obama, but that's another issue.

Alright, Grants Pass is on the map! I love Dutch Bros.

Here is my take on the whole thing as far as politics go:

Democrats and Republicans these days are both Liberal (I think someone already mentioned that) and neither party has a clue or the desire to SOLVE the problems we face because nobody wants things to get worse on their watch. Instead, they try to patch the problem and pass it on to the next guy while in reality the problem gets bigger and bigger.

All of that is out of my control, all I can do is create wealth for my family and be prepared for the worst. I would not be surprised if these knuckleheads cause the dollar to collapse from all this $$ printing.

I would fight for freedom of speech, the right to keep and bear arms, my family, and our lives.

Mike, I think American people could easily become slaves to our government and Obama and his radical left wing buddies in Congress have every intent on taking as much of our freedom as they can.

How about the "Fairness Doctrine"? I will fight to make sure that does not get passed.

"When the northern European pay their taxes, they get it back in form of services. They get free health care. Dental care, child care, free quality education, etc, etc."

FREE? Are you INSANE? The most expensive health care in the world is "FREE Health Care". And child care? You must not have any children because if you did and still thought that was a good idea then you would have really lost it. The thought of ANY government paid child care makes me puke. The US couldn't run the Post Office successfully, how do you think they would do with child care? I'm not not going to even get into your definition of "FREE quality education".

"The don't spend a penny on defence (They don't need to)"

Your right about that, they just bend over and let the muslims take control, like the rest of Europe. Seeing as your from Israel, I would assume that would disgust you.

Right on Joe. That's a good thing. I'm assuming your putting up typical "I BUY HOUSES" signs, if so get the info from the caller and run the numbers on it.

I would tell him that you need to run the numbers and that you'll call him back with your offer.

Do you have COMPS for that neighborhood? Either way, get the address, reason for selling (just to gauge motivation), asking price, and anything he can tell you about the house.

Post your numbers back up here and I'm sure everyone would be happy to tell you what to offer the guy.
