Question for some experienced investors in multifamily (50 units or more)- How would you approach finding off market deals if you already have a database of properties that you are interested

1. Call the owners yourselves and  discuss selling

2. Find a good buyers broker and have him/her call the owners?

Thanks

Love the words of wisdom !! Thanks Ola Dantis

Thanks Travis 😊

Hi Tyler,please see responses below.

Thanks

Why do you want to go the true syndication route vs a partnership?

Would like to get out of rat race as soon as I can.

2. Do you have a good CPA and RE attorney? If not jump on that ASAP to determine structure and to minimize tax liabilities.

Have a CPA but not an attorney. Would be happy to have some references.

3. Find a quality RE agent that is known for working with investors and actually understands the numbers.

Working on this part.

4. Networking is geographic in my opinion when it comes to an actual deal. Is there a certain part of the country you are looking to invest in?

Houston and surrounding areas is my target right now

5. What are we talking for multi-family? 1-4 units or 5+ as that makes a huge difference in financing and investment numbers.

The goal will be to have 60 units or more by the end of next year (2021)

Let me know!

My first post ever !!! Please forgive me if I am repeating

1. Suggestions for a mentor for multifamily syndication?

2. Networking for MF?

3. Investor groups suggestions?

Thanks
