Thank you both so much, I really appreciate the helpful info!
Hello all,
What questions do you ask to see whether a turnkey company is reputable? Does anyone have any recommendations for good turnkey companies? I am in the Raleigh area, but am open to investing out of state. I recently received an email from bigger pockets and a turnkey company was sponsored in it, does that mean it is reputable/is that an endorsement from Bigger Pockets? Sorry for all the questions and thank you in advance!

Good morning All,
I was wondering how everyone feels about allowing pets into rentals. Are you okay with it if the dog is small or a certain breed? If you don't allow pets is it more because of the damage they may cause to the rental or are you more concerned about the liability (if the dog were to bite someone, etc.) ?
Thank you for your help!

I know that house hacking is a good way to start, but unfortunately I don't think that's an option for us right now, possibly in the a year or two. I'm very interested in BRRRR-ing, but I didn't know if maybe turnkey was a better strategy for someone that is new to investing since everything is basically done for you. I guess it just comes down to personal preference and what will work for you. My husband and I are still at the saving money stage and we do own a home right now, so putting one of the rooms on airbnb is a good idea and I also like the idea of buying another home and renting this one out, which is definitely what we would like to do eventually!
Thank you for all the replies, they are very helpful!
Hi! New investor here :)! My husband and I live in the Raleigh, NC area and want to get started in real estate investing. Is there a particular method that is more newbie friendly than other methods? Like is turn-key a good way to get started or is BRRRR a better way to go, or maybe some other way that I haven't listed here? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
