And have any of you personally purchased redemption rights from someone recently?

Thanks @Michael Jones I sent the Sheriff an e-mail asking about the title and redemption rights but haven't heard back yet.
So can anyone tell me how you go about purchasing redemption rights?

@Jay Hinrichs We have our eyes on a couple properties that are coming up for auction at the courthouse and I'm trying to learn how we go about purchasing the redemption rights the correct way.
We want to be able to turn the property as quickly as possible so we want to make sure we can purchase the property and have title in hand asap. just trying to learn the full process of buying at auction and dealing with redemption rights before we make a purchase.
@Michael Jones I've done my title research and the property is clean, my other concern is how long will the sheriffs office take to transfer the title to us, ive heard that can take up to six months.

@Jared Sawyer We are talking about that, just unsure of how to do it. Also contemplating the idea of just buying it from them and going around the auction. Just not sure if you can do that. Still researching.

I live in lane county Oregon and my husband and I are trying to purchase a couple houses at auction to flip. It is our first auction purchase and we want the house renovated and for sale within a couple months so we cant wait 180 days to get the title or have someone redeem it after all our hard work. My main concern right now is how do you go about purchasing redemption rights, and how do you make it official?
Any advice for us young new investors is greatly appreciated :)

How do you go about purchasing redemption rights, and how do you make it official? Say I offer the debtor money to sign away his redemption rights, how do I make that binding? Can it be done at the courthouse, notarized forms etc?
