Can some tell me about the market in Montgomery right now for long or short term rentals? I am looking to buy in that area with the hopes of moving there some time in the next 10 years, so I want to move on something soon. Any way what ever help I can get would be great.

So we have been taking really good pictures of it and will use those to advertise with, but that was my thoughts Dennis, we do not want the head ache of people bugging us to get in before we are ready.  Any other thoughts would be great.

I am building a duplex right now and its my first rental. We are at insulation and drywall right now, so we are hopefully 6-8 weeks out on it being done. My question is, when would you start marketing it for rent? Am I to late? If not how far out should I start that process? I am in a pretty strong market so I am not to worried about it renting but want to have people ready when it's done. Any help or tips would be awesome.

I have a opportunity to pick up a property that currently has a single wide trailer on it and a nice little shed. The property is what I really want not the trailer, but for the price it may be worth me picking it up, and renting out the trailer till we are ready to build a duplex on it. Do any of you have experience with owning a single wide? If so would it be worth it to try and rent it out? Again the property is what I want, and worth what I would offer on it, but if I could generate some income in the mean time that would be great.
