Honestly... I haven't done a list request in a long time. Contact an agent near you & let them know an old lady in the real estate field you recently met, spoke of ordering lists of addresses based on radius, size of home, last purchase/refinance date & loan amount/purchase price. Let him/her know that she said something about getting it from her local title office & see if they have any avenues to get you what you are asking for. In the mid 2000's they were free to order up 500 addresses... Then a few years ago, it was a cost. I doubt it costs as much as buying a listing online AND the parameters are probably more significant from a title office than from an online company looking to make some money. Title will have the most recent lien holder, etc. Good luck! I'm from Northern California where things are done a bit different. I hope this helps you. Have a great week & keep us posted! (Side note ... Colorful Postcards are great & have more impact if they are handwritten. I've also had amazing luck sending letters on stationary size paper & envelopes. It looks like an invitation or letter from a friend or family member. If you add in a word of encouragement, it will take you further than a mass mailer.) Prove me Wrong! Well, I hope a personal note still means something to people. . . Send out a mix & see what happens. Also, remember that it sometimes takes three to four mailings to the same people before they respond. Good luck.

The lot is valuable, right?! It never hurts to buy this one as an investment & use it as collateral for future endeavors. Keep us posted on your progress & good luck!
I used to get listings from My friendly escrow/title officer. They would ask the perimeters & send a pdf list, cd & even labels. My return was 10-20% from those lists. They (at one time) were free. I'm not sure if they are anymore. For example - Depending upon what the mailer is for, I would ask for a 2 mile radius around a recent sold home w/ the same details (3b/2b) that haven't refinanced in 10-20yrs (Lorne holds didn't change). Those were usually the leads for people that wanted to sell, refinance or buy a new home.

Just moved to LA & Checking the market to see what's out there. I've been in real estate since 1993. Started as a receptionist in a brokerage in the Silicon Valley & stayed until I became an underwriter & licensed agent. I took time off to take care of my parents health & now I'm back. Looking for wholesalers. I'd prefer to hold onto my liquid reserve. Does anyone have leads on bank notes? My terminology may be off, But I'm willing to learn what's working in the investment world now.
