Has anyone rented to tenant(s) with disabilities? I have a potential tenant who is interested in one of my units, she is hearing impaired (deaf). Any tips or important things I should know about the application process and living arrangements etc. ?

What was your experience like ?

@Bjorn Ahlblad

You guys have made very valid points. Thank you so much for your feedback.

@Adam Martin

The younger ones are of-course building their credit. The older guy, credit is not good at all. Most ppl would honestly turn him away.

Two of three are the ages of (21 and 22), this would be their first apartment, so they have no rental history besides their mom.

The third person is (43), she listed a family member as a reference and another person, but could not find their contact number, only has the address. She’s originally from out of state. So essentially She has no rental history.

Separately they do not make the rent requirement per month, combined they do. This is why I’m so torn, on if i should proceed forward with their application or not.

I am a new investor and I have three prospective tenants (all will be living together). They have No previous rental history, but as a combined whole they make a little over 2.5 x’s the rent. Any advice and/or tips on this matter as is relates to renting to tenants with no prior rental history ?
