@Elliott Holdosh We both have very similar goals. I graduated a year ago with my BSME and am currently looking into my first househack and then will move onto getting more rental properties. Do you have any idea where you want to invest or where you are going to go work after school?

@Cory Carlson. Thanks! I am aware of how competitive the market is right now. Hopefully things can calm down at some point in the next six months before my lease is up. I will check out the MeetUp app.

@Brad Hammond I would love to check out the Zoom class! What exactly is an Investor lab and is it something I could get involved with even with my limited experience?

@Steve Morris I have quite a few friends graduating right now in the same boat. I work at Daimler.

Hello BP!

I have been listening to the podcast for a while now and am now finally ready to start searching for my first investment property. Back in February, I moved from Denver, Colorado to Portland, Oregon for my first mechanical engineering job out of college and have been saving religiously since starting with the plan of getting a place to househack. My long term goals are to use real estate as a way to build wealth while still keeping my job as an engineer. I am not interested in this as a get rich quick scheme so I will be focusing on buy and hold rental properties that can ride out volatile markets like we are in right now.

This year has made it nearly impossible to network with people in person so I am hoping this forum can help. What are some ways that you guys have found useful to network during a time when in person gatherings are restricted?
