Can I add a partner to a 1031 exchange?  I am doing a 1031 into a new investment property and want to add my business partner.  is that possible?

Also - another 1031 questions.....if I did a considerable amount of rehab to the property I am selling, can I pay my contractor at the settlement table - using some of the proceeds from the sale?

Lets form one.  I was looking for the same.

I have been a real estate investor/developer/renovator/builder for 25+ years....and now more of a multifamily buyer and looking for more passive income through investing / renovating-improving-holding.  Would love to connect and try and form a group to collaborate
