Hello Again,
We are going to list our rental in Crystal Beach ourselves for the first couple of months. Does anyone know where to find the tax rate you charge to occupants? I have called Galveston County Tax office and they said, we don't know. Any information would be greatly appreciated,

I have a beach house that we are hoping to put on the STR market in Port Bolivar. Besides the the AirCare coverage that Air BNB Offers, are you guys adding any STR riders to regular insurance/flood/wind? If so, what kind? Are umbrella policies the same as STR riders? Thanks

My expenses for the year would be about 25K ( Mortgage, Bills, Insurance..etc) It looks like I could make about 28K-30K as a STR.

Hello BP! I am new to this adventure and want a STR in Galveston, preferably near the strand. My concern is that the home won't be able to pay for itself in the off season; non-summer months. I'll have to pay the difference out of my pocket. How do you guys tackle this?
