@Mitch Messer makes great points.  I am an investor and also have my Real Estate license.  I was primarily a realtor when I first got my license, but since my husband and I started investing I primarily just invest.  I love being an investor vs being a realtor, but there are great things about each side.  I completely agree there is lack of both communication and mutual respect.  I agree @Paul Juell, as professionals we should all respect each other.

We will unfortunately be out of state for a wedding and won't be able to make this one.  Looking forward to the next one!

Chase and I will be there tonight!

I am a Realtor with kw. I believe every market is going to be different. I see other kw agents posting on here as a 70/30 split and $40 desk fees. I am a newer agent and the Keller Williams office I am with has a "coaching program" for brand new agents that the split is 60/40 at first and the desk fee is $55 a month. I'm sure other KW offices will be different but the training espically for brand new agents is great. I'd definitely interview at your local KW so you know what your office fee's and commission split would be, and to see if you kw has a coaching program for new agents. Congratulations on pursuing your Real Estate license!

@Hessa Friedman I was, and did not get any training.  I definitely saw a difference once I made the switch.

I'm pretty new to the real estate game myself and I can definitely say if you want to be a successful agent, training and having agents around you that are willing to help makes a huge difference.  My first year I struggled as well, and switching to Keller Williams Real Estate helped my career so much because of all of the training they have to offer.  If you interview at other agencies make sure you interview them as much as they are interviewing you to see if they will make a good fit for your business.  Everyone's advice on here is amazing, lead generation is KEY to success.

In my market a lot of Realtors won't show more than one home without having their buyers sign a Buyers agency agreement. I have done this for clients in the past where I have them sign a baa for one day, or one weekend and after that time is up, if we agree we are a good fit and want to work together I will extend the time period, If we both feel we don't want to work together, then we part ways. This would be an option( if realtors do it in your market) for you to see if your a good fit for each other.

@Hessa Friedman I'm a Realtor as well.  I hear this site is different for every market, but when I was calling expired's I would use thatsthem.com.  Its free.  I did not have funds to pay for those calling sites either, and although some numbers I got weren't right, I did have success.  Hope this helps!

I'm a Realtor/Investor in the Pocono's and Lehigh Valley.  I have a lot of investors/ buyers and renters commuting from NJ and NY because PA is so much cheaper in both rent/investing or even primary residence buying.  Depends on the area in PA but Lehigh Valley and some locations in the Pocono's are great spots to invest in.
