I want to buy homes, fix them up and sell them for profit. I have noticed that there are large number of homes in Pittsburgh that are less than $30,000. We like to buy the cheap homes, do a quality rehab/update, and sell them for a profit. The finishes would cater towards first time home owners who don’t necessarily expect to have all the fancy stuff but want a nice home with updated electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roof, or whatever it needs. I like to focus on bringing value to the neighborhood to instill homeownership pride

We have been considering different markets to flip homes and I am drawn to Birmingham because of the low cost. We previously worked in the Des Moines market and specialized  in first time homeowners. Is there this potential in Birmingham with good profits?

I have been analyzing a lot of data from different markets and it seems like Pittsburgh is a hot place to be? We previously flipped in the Des Moines market and specialize in first time homebuyers. Can we make a go of it in Pittsburgh?

We are versed in doing the majority of the work ourselves except for HVAC and carpet; everything else we can do ourselves!

We used to flip in Des Moines IA and catered to providing quality homes to first time buyers. We moved to AZ 15 years ago and were unable to to continue due to lack of financing and one of our children had a serious  illness. We are now set to get back into what we live to do. I was a successful realtor in IA; I have my license here but only use it for personal use. I have been looking at markets in Pittsburgh PA and Birmingham AL because it looks like you can get a home relatively cheap and they don’t look horrible. We want to locate realtors in those areas that are Knowledgeable about the market and help us build our business again. We want to continue improving/revitalizing neighborhoods for first time home buyers.
