Will you ever be interested in using these newspapers to advertise for buyers or for motivated sellers? If that is possible, you could talk to the ad sales people at the papers now. MAYBE you can negotiate a package deal that includes your LLC notices now and some commercial adds later, all at a discount. As I've heard at least 4 times on BP podcasts, you can't get what you don't ask for.

Hello Michael,

Native of Phoenix/Tempe/Chandler here too. Welcome to BP! The corporate drop out part of your story is VERY VERY appealing. I've got 23 years in my current career (IT Project Management) and I'm ready to drop out too. Best of luck!

Ken

Hello and welcome. I'm new here too!

I grew up in Tempe so we have two things in common now. See you around the forums!

Greetings BP-ers!

My name is Ken Baer. I was born and raised in Phoenix and I still love living here. I'm a golfer so where else would I live!?!

Currently I work as a Project Manager for Dignity Health, a hospital company in Arizona and California. On the side, however, I am working to start a small business. I hope to build a crowdfunding portal that focuses on real estate investments. As many of you know, this is a new venue for raising capital. So new that the regulations for how it can be done have not been released. I am educating myself, researching, networking, and planning in hopes of being ready at the starting line when the government makes it all legal.

I am here on BP because I am impressed with the philosophy Josh Dorkin has instilled in it. I too believe people need to educate themselves, be professional, treat people right, and generally be real (not too salesy). I've already listened to nearly all the podcasts and that inspired me to begin interacting with all of you!

Obviously, my first goal is to educate myself about real estate investing. Eventually I want to learn with you how crowdfunding can solve your problems and enable successful partnerships between real estate people and "the crowd". But first things first.

I look forward to getting to know you!

Ken
