COVID-19 Emergency Rent & Utility Assistance Program

- Do You Need Help Paying Your Past Due Rent and Utilities? - Have You Been Laid Off, Furloughed or Had Your Hours

Reduced Due to COVID-19?

If you answered, “Yes” to both questions above you may be eligble to

receive up to 3 months of Rent and Utility Assistance

• Must be a City of Chattanooga resident

• Must have an income hardship due to COVID-19

• Location of the rental unit must be within city limits of Chattanooga

• Must provide required documents such as identification, proof of income, statement of need, etc.

• Must have a delinquency notice (letter or e-mail) from your landlord

• Must provide a copy of your lease agreement AND receipts for most recent 3 months of payment (various forms of proof of payment are accepted)

• Must qualify based on household income.
