Thanks for the replies. That narrows it down that it's not readily available and I wasn't missing something. If I find something I will certainly share.

Hello all, I am looking for a resource that can provide recently rented properties and the approximate price it was rented for in my target area. Does this even exist? Potentially not because it's not public record like a sale? Ultimately, I am trying to get an unbiased opinion on how robust the rental market is in my target area as well as pricing. The closest I have found is Zillows rent Zestimate but accuracy is a concern. I'm trying to avoid: 1. Purchasing a rental property with low demand for its location/size/features/price 2. An ARV which exceeds what's necessary or in demand for area An agent is a potential, but an agent looking for a sale it's not entirely unbiased. Rental market strength is not a concern for them after the sale. Any feedback greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hello all, Newbie here from south eastern PA. Looking to get into buy and hold investments. The Ultimate Beginners Guide brought me here to BP and I have moved on the Brandon Turner's book on rental property investing. I'm here to soak up as much knowledge as I can before taking the plunge into my first investment property! Looking forward to reading your posts and potentially contributing in the future! Kevin Foley
