Hi Gayle. Welcome to the community. Where did you get the information that they are banned in Arkansas? If that's true it surprises me. There is a tiny house in my neighborhood and we have at least one fella in the state who makes them. I suppose such legislation might have escaped my attention in the last legislative session but I doubt it. Tell more. I'd like to check it out. 

Welcome to the community! There's much to learn here I haven't been around long myself and am amazed at the support. Congrats on the early start. I've been talking up REI to my daughter who is about your age. There are many ways to get started. Read up on House Hacking for one example.
