I'm in a situation where my landlord has not provided me with a lease despite my several discussions with him. I am planning on sending a registered mail notice so I can have documentation. Originally, he stated that he would make a copy and would give it to me ASAP. It has now been several weeks. I am currently situated in Florida. What are my legal rights and steps I can take in regards to this? I have not been able to find any specific legality that addresses this through my online search.
Thank you

Perhaps you aren't approaching motivated enough sellers? I would suggest keeping with it (even if you're not as active). Post how the process worked for you, and where you hit your snags. Perhaps someone of the forum will have some insight that could make it work out for you. Good luck, and congratulations on your job!

Again, thank you for the advice -- I'm sure it'll prove to be invaluable, and I definitely want to appeal to investors, of course... and someday hopefully be one myself!

How do you find it over in Tampa? Do you get much business from the USF community, or are you in a different part of town?
Welcome to BP, as well :)

Thanks for the advice! I'm trying to not let my excitement get ahead of me. I've been looking around at houses, buy/sell prices, and some estimated values where I can find them. I'm not exactly sure if there's something else you mean by that (forgive me), but if so, could you elaborate?
Thanks, Mark

Nice to have you here, Brad. I'm currently in Gainesville, myself. I'm sure you're gaining lots of knowledge, put it to good use!

I actually installed laminate in an office at my house, and it looks great. Easy to put in, and so much cheaper. I wood highly suggest this. I also think it may be easier to maintain. Hope this helps
