Hello my name is Krystle, I currently reside in MO but will be moving to FL in a couple weeks. I am new to real estate investing as of now I have 2 properties that generate a cash flow and 3 others that need flipping and we'll either sell or rent out. In September I purchased a duplex that I chose to do a 203k loan and totally got screwed over... the contractor bailed and my husband and I accumulated a lot of debt trying to get the project done by the deadline. Still working to pay off some of this debt ANNND to top things off we finished by the deadline but the contractor who bailed is now claiming we owe him thousands of dollars so we have to go through arbitration. Anyway that may be a little more information than necessary for an introduction, lol, but that is part what lead me to this website to learn more and engage more about real estate investing. Any tips, suggestions, welcomes and/or similar situations shared are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
