Hi,

I'm looking for resources and/or connections related to 4+ BR Rental properties available for Housing Choice Voucher customers in the Prince William Virginia area.

Back in the day in Connecticut, I was a HCV (formerly known as Section 8) Housing Coordinator. We had landlords lining up to participate in the program as they knew it was easily guaranteed, long-term and consistent rental payments. In my area of VA, not so much.....

I'd be grateful for suggestions.

Thanks!

Thank you all for the quick and helpful feedback! I’ve compiled notes to prep ahead of Broker interviews and will highlight some of the details provided in this thread! I’ll circle back with direct connects.

I appreciate the well wishes!!

I’m looking for Broker recommendations.

I passed Real Estate Licensing exam last week in Northern VA. I'm leaning towards EXP because of the flexibility and Covid being the game changer for traditional business models. I'm 10 yrs from retiring local government and will be juggling both careers.

I don’t have an interest in joining a team.

A downside to EXP is the aggressive recruiting I’ve encountered from ‘sponsors’ with only 1 month under their belt or the sales pitch from agents who want you to join a team.

Any feedback from insiders is welcomed.

Thank you.
