I am looking for help and information in buying foreclosures. I have not been able to find good information about listings and am not sure if all foreclosures go to auction or if there is an online auction. Also, can you buy foreclosures with bank financing or are they normally cash only?

What are some thought to buying a house/finding tenants/rehabbing or updating a house in the winter months? I am located in Indiana where the winters can get pretty harsh.

Hello! I am new to the real estate investing industry with no deals under my belt yet! Everything that BiggerPockets offers is inspiring me more and more every day! I can't wait until the day that I jump in and buy my first investment property. I have a goal to watch every podcast to date and I have went through about 30-40 of them so far. I am in the Portage-Valparaiso-Chesterton area currently and am interested in staying local for my first few investment properties. I am excited to join BiggerPockets and discuss investing with everyone.
