I have read that book and I believe the authors are spot on. In Peter's book, The Real Crash, his prediction isn't that the stock and real estate markets will crash, but the value of the US Dollar will crash. I'm this case you want to be in inflation protected assets, and RE can serve that purpose. Peter also has a podcast if you ever want to hear his latest forecasts.

Hi BP,

I'm extremely new to this but I have made the decision to purchase my first investment property using the strategy of buying a single family home and renting it out. I have analyzed a bunch of properties and I think I am ready to make an offer. My only concern is that, once I purchase the property, I won't be able to find someone quickly to rent from me. There is no real reason to have this concern, but its making me hesitant. Has anyone had this issue before? Whats the best way to find people looking to rent?
