@Manuel Alexander I’m constantly searching for people that don’t have numbers associated with them. The next step I usually take is to try to find that person on Facebook and send them a message. If you could find any family members you could send them a message too. I haven’t used truepeoplesearch.com, I normally use whitepages.com and I like to see if any family members live close too me where I could go knock their house trying to get in touch with the owner of the subject property.

I hope this helps, best of luck to you!

@Christina Linn Thats amazing! I'm glad to hear that it is attainable, especially from a seasoned investor. Looking forward to finding that deal.

@Greg Scott Thank you for the advise! Yes credit is something I'm working on, and I just got approved for my first credit card.

Hi all,

I'm a new investor who wants to move out of their parents house. Being only 19 I don't have any credit and no money saved up. That being said I've been studying up on creative acquisitions, I read Brandon's book and other articles. I had the idea of doing the traditional house hack with finding a duplex/triplex/quad and having the other units cover my monthly expenses. Also negotiating with the owner a lease option so I don't have to come up with a huge down payment and I could choose to exercise the option in a few years or so.

Has anyone heard or have done this before? I would like to have a discussion with anyone that wants to talk about this.

Hey BP Community, this is my first post and would like to thank everyone for putting their time in to share their knowledge on this platform. So, I’m 18 yrs old, living with my parents, very little money saved, and no credit. I would like to move out within 6 months or so, but I want it to be the start of my real estate career. I want to househack. I’ve been learning and researching a lot about real estate for the past few months now and I think this is the best move for me. Is it possible for someone like me to buy a multi-family with creative financing or something like that? I would also appreciate if someone could give me a few sources where I can go into further research on this topic. Thanks again!
