Hey Josh,

My initial reaction was that it met my goals of two words or less, catchy name, and it was available, plus it reflects the fact that I will be buying and selling property (real estate) homepeddler was taken so the next best was propertypeddler. After getting it I was thinking that it might sound a bit sleezy.

Thanks for your response.

Ken

George, your right, to do well in this business you have to have thick skin. This comes with experience, of which I have none. I should restate, that I am less concerned with hate calls and more concerned with people that are p-off trying to track me down. I just want to protect the family that's all, and I am looking for guidance. Thanks for your response.

Ok, here's the deal. As most of you know one of the most time consuming efforts when setting up your business is trying to figure out the best domain name to use. I tried to find a name that was catchy, two words or less, easy to remember, and NOT TAKEN (almost impossible). I think I was just tired when I decided to go with the domain name "propertypeddler.com". What to do with this? Keep it, kill it, embrace it, I have no idea. I probably should have consulted the BP first before buying it. I am begging for your thoughts and advice!

Great advice Rob! I will go the route of the live answering sevice once I have some money coming it. For now I will use my gmail voice number and answer the calls myself knowing I will receive some hate calls. Thanks for your feedback.

Hello.

I am just getting started and would like to know if it is a bad idea not to use a return address on yellow letter or postcards...ect.

Within the letter I would have an untraceable phone number which would send callers to voicemail which I could then screen on my own time. I was thinking the one benfit of not having a return address is to protect my family from receiving nasty letters from people not happy that I am mailing them to buy their house. Can anyone shed some light on the pros and cons of not having a return address?

Thanks for your help.
