I'm also interested in becoming a Realtor. Does anyone know how much it costs to maintain the license is after you've received it (continuing education, renewals, etc)? Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

Hi, Erin. Welcome to the forums. I'm a newbie investor in Temple, interested in buy-and-hold. Do you have a link to the Waco meetup information?

Hi, Erik, and others posting! I will close on two properties soon and am looking for the same thing-a dependable, HONEST handyman/remodeler/contractor. If you guys know of anyone else, please let me know. I'm in Temple, by the way.

Hi, I'm new to Bigger Pockets, from Temple, Texas. I've bought and sold two lots and four homes FSBO, one was a flip to an owner occupant, one was a flip to myself, which my family and I are currently enjoying. I'm interested in buy-and-hold rentals in my area, and I'm working on my first deal: two multi-family properties in my neighborhood. I've just started working on financing, needed just a little more to have a down payment. The podcasts, forums and articles have been amazing! Mind. Blown. by all of the clear, concise, honest, accurate, FREE information on this site. Thank you, Bigger Pockets! After learning the ropes from this first acquisition, I will expand more into the buy-and-hold market in my area. I'm also interested in college town investment properties.
