I just started using BP a few days ago to network with other investors and enjoyed my experience until I was banned from messaging..  I sent messages to other users, but abided by the policy regarding messaging.

I would like to eventually go PRO but I was banned only a few days after starting to use the site.  How do you expect people to want to pay for the service if they are being banned almost instantly?  Is this a way to force people to subscribe to a pro membership?

Post: Vent! Why is real estate investing so shady!?!?

Any industry where you have the potential to make a ridiculous amount of money is going to have scams, gurus and an endless amount of courses that you are "supposed" to take to become an expert.  Be smart about it.  The reality is not everyone is going to make it into that 1% through investing in real estate, but they are still going to sell you on the hope that you will.

There are so many free resources out there. Until you have taken advantage of every free resource you shouldn't have to spend any money.  In the beginning only focus on spending your money on expenses that are immediately going to bring you closer to the closing table.

It may seem silly, but I still tell my clients that if something seems to good to be true, that means it is.  Don't get caught up in all the crap out there.  Focus on your end goal and trust your gut feeling.
