Welcome to the BP community @Tim C.  . Like you I listened and learned a lot from the podcast. You can also download a number of free eBooks, like the Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing.

Good luck to your real estate endeavor!

Congratulations @Glenn McCrorey

Although I'm still a long ways to go. Same as what you did, I have decided to start my path to financial freedom.

Hello @Elizabeth Colegrove

You mentioned some good points. One of the advantage of having a full time job while investing is being approved on a lower interest rate. I remember this was discussed on one of the podcasts by @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner. I will take advantage of the lower interest rate while I still have my current job on properties I will buy & hold.

Thanks for sharing your comments, Elizabeth. I appreciate it.

Hello Bryan. I would recommend the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad to setup your mindset to investing. I got the audio format so I can listen to it while I commute to work. That way I can maximize my time to learning instead of just listening to music. Welcome to the community and good luck!

Hello, I am Romel Aquino from the Inland Empire area, in Alta Loma near Rancho Cucamonga, Southern California. Currently, I am an employee of the local power utility company for 11 years. I've been listening to the BP podcasts since 2013 while driving to and from work. I would like to network with the BP members who are located near where I live and work. I am starting to do my marketing to pre-foreclosures to generate leads for wholesale and fix-flip. Hopefully, I will be able to find my first deal and close very soon. I'm tired of the rat race and plan to do the real estate investing full time when the profits I earn from investing surpass my W2 salary. I know it will be hard, but I also know I have to persist to get what I want. I'm looking forward to interacting with all the BP members.
