@George Blower Thank you! BP has been inspirational. So much solid education. Trying to learn the ins and outs of my specific market here in around Philadelphia has been a challenge though. Each city having their own rules and regulations makes it a real challenge. And as a newbie trying to find a good mentor has been a tough, but I know what I am capable of and see 10 units this year as ultimate goal. The sky is the limit with hard work, desire and a strong why.

@Scott Morris my girlfriend got the essentials package for $2000 but their highest one is 20K. I have no intentions of going any higher as of yet because I see there is tons of frees education online. But her getting involved is what opened my eyes to the possibility of being a real estate investor. They allow you to add on a person to learn with you which is how I got involved. While I see the value in the network I feel I have gotten most of the same education here through BP, Just in a not as organized fashion. And full disclosure it's an MLM, but I like the fact the they are a group I can touch and feel. They have been friendly enough thus far and while it's only been a month have added some value providing some connections. My goal is to not reply on one group of course and not spend ally investment money on a guru program. Are you a student? Your thoughts on the group? Do you know of any other worth while networking groups in the area?

Hey everyone! My name is Lewis Colon and I have recently introduced to the power of Real Estate Investing. As a graduate from Penn State with a degree in Business and a focus in Finance I knew it was a good idea, but my education was more focused around stocks. After further research into the matter I feel that REI is a much more powerful tool for financial freedom. Of course that is when you invest smartly. Lately I have spent my time reading books, listening to Podcasts and trying to build out my network. I joined Renatus but have been looking for other ways to connect with like-minded people who are making their dreams come true. While I enjoy my day job, it's not my dream to get stuck in the 40/40/40. I am looking to connect with people in the area who would be willing to work together or provide guidance and how to be successful in this industry. I admit their are still pretty many gaps.in my knowledge such as estimating rehab costs, getting reliable local contractors and finding a good property manager. My goal is to buy my first BRRRR by May or maybe even House Hack a 3-4 unit in the area. I spend every day looking at properties but feel if I walk through I property I won't know what to look for and terms or a serious issue. Any guidance would be appreciated and thanks for taking the time to.read this BP Fam!

@Josh Rathbun love this man. Very inspiring. I am new to BiggerPockets and have begun the process of searching for my first investment opportunities. It's great to hear new people being successful with the information available here. This site has been such a huge help. I am looking to do the same in the Philadelphia area. Keep up the great work!
