Hey everyone,

I have a few properties I am trying to assign but first I realize I need to tie them up under contract.

Is there a basic contract I can use to tie up the property? A P&S, or what?

Thanks.

*Side Note* I have read up on the previous topics with this matter, I was just wondering if someone could provide atleast a template.

Exactly. =) Although, I am starting locally (SA) and DFW.. I do not wanna be close minded, but do not want to stretch myself too thin being a newbie.

Todd I may pick your brain, fellow Texan, I saw that you are a former CPA..

Thanks all,

Looking forward to learning and connecting as much as possible. I am currently in San Antonio following college, but originally from Arlington, Texas. I plan on investing in all 4 major markets in Texas. DFW, SA, Austin, and Houston. Seeing the responses on this thread alone, I think we're all on the same page.

I understand how to find pre-foreclosure owners in the counties I am interested in, however, is it possible to wholesale the deal since they are "distressed"? I am getting into assignments but wouldn't the new buyer inherit the back payments thus putting them in a situation. Although it may seem elementary please explain.. someone... please î„

That leads to my next question.

I do know there is a way to help the previous owner acquire those funds "overages", but im not sure who at the county to talk to.

Hey everyone!

I've been researching real estate investing strategies to get started for awhile now, and finally taking steps to achieve my goals.

Here for networking, tips (wholesale, tax sales) and to build buyers list. So feel free to email me sometime.

Happy Investing!
