My parents own a lake cottage in Michigan that I’ve turned into a short-term rental. I’m now helping guide them through pulling out the equity and eventually placing the property into a trust under my name. The goal is to simplify things for them — the upkeep and management have become too stressful — while keeping the property in the family. I’m still figuring out the best strategy to make that transition as seamless and beneficial as possible.

I am looking at a deal in the Quartier Près de Plan d'eau Laurentides. I wanted to use a bigger pocket deal analyzer, it doesn't seem to work for anything outside the US. Any help or info is appreciated.

Quick question—when we talk about co-living platforms like PadSplit and Padshare, are we referring to an actual application or just the model? I have two properties I’m looking to convert, but Padshare isn’t available in my area. What platform or system are you using to handle listings, tenant placement, billing, and contracts?

@Becca F. Ouch- I gotta respectly disagree with you there. Ron Legrand may be old school but he's a legend for a reason. I found him extremely personable, generous and a wealth of information.
Also, I have no problem paying for education. Nothing worthwhile is truly free. You either pay with your time, your mistakes, or you invest in learning from people who've been where your're trying to go.
There's a reason people say, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Sometimes the OGs still have the best game.

@Joe S. Oh he's still on it. I saw him in Virginia at a slow flip summit recently. He's a trip!
