Hello Ram

Thank you for your response, i spent quite some time reflecting on your questions

1) having a career allows me to have more time to build my company, I'm not relying on it's income and it becomes more like an important hobby. patience (not procrastination) I believe will be a key to my success if I can take my time to build a better foundation for my company it will thrive longer. So yes I have time on my hands.

2) I have access to capital through family but it's not something I want to rely on until I have at least 1 or two properties under my portfolio (experience). I've been building my credit over the past 4 years and it was excellent until I went to school. I've accumulated a $12 000 debt I should be able to pay off within the next year and a half with my current salary and once I start work in my respective field it will be nothing to pay off. So i do not have access to great capital yet and I'm on the right track to build it. I'm also very skilled at networking.

3) I'm interested in building cash flow more than a quick flip, unless the opportunity arises and i can jump on it.

in conclusion I decided to focus the next two year to simply generating higher income. I won't be going to school or doing anything else. Your questions made me reflects and i believe I have time to build my credit and bank account for  the next two years. At the end depending on my credit / savings I will be able to better decide weather I should go back to school educate myself more for a better paying career or whether I should take my money and knowledge and start investing. I believe it will take some time for the market to pick up again so a 2 - 3 year window to start investing is not a bad pitch.

Thank you for your time

I just finished my studies to become an emergency medical technician. My next focus is to find a job in my field, and use the remaining time to educate myself in real estate. I have the option to go back to school for about 4 - 6 years, with this i have great chances of finding work in Off-shore O&G drilling sites as a medic and more opportunities to have a high paying career i care about. Or I can take that energy and direct it into real estate. Currently i'm 24 y/o, and keeping my options open so when I figure out my direction there is very little to stop me. In the mean time I will educate myself in finance and real estate.
