does anyone even read my question.. why one year.. why one year.. why one year.. why not two.. or ten.. or the life of the loan.. christ almighty.. whats it take to get someone to read my question... is this the state of real estate agents/investors today..

Repeat:  Why are occupancy requirements for owner occupancy set at "one (1) year"?   Is this federally mandated, legal precedence or other reason? 

"Note: You must have the intent to occupy the residence for at least one year and will sign an affidavit at closing stating you agree to that principle."

Is this "Note" a regulation and if so where can it be found? Does it cancel out FHA regulation 4155.14.B.1.a and 4155.14.B.1.a after the first year?

It is my understanding that after a period of occupancy for one year that it does cancel the occupancy requirement but I do not know if it is Federally mandated or legal precedence as a result from HUD vs Et Al (???).
