Thank you all for responding to my post! There was a big oil boom in the past few years, it has slowed down a bit, due to the falling prices of gas. But there are still some big companies here, so we decided to move and remodel our house, and fix it to rent out to oil field workers. It is a 4 bedroom house, 2 1/2 baths, 2 living room areas, kitchen, a big back yard. It is fully furnished, it can sleep eight, 2 people per bedroom. Utilities will be included, yard maintenance and housekeeping. It is completely remodeled. If we can get good income we will include cable and internet. So they would just have to move their clothes in. We have not been able to get a property management company. This is a small town, also the only property management that is close by has never done a house like this. They only have done unfurnished houses. We were hoping to charge by person, hopefully from the same company. We have heard of other people doing it, but they live in it and rent out rooms to the workers. We don't know how to contact companies and we are not sure what kind of contract we need. Again thank you everyone!

We are new to this and have never before rented out or have been a landlord. We are currently looking to rent out our home to the oil field industry that is big in our county. We have no idea how to go about it as yet, but for the article I just read on how to become a landlord. There are still many unanswered questions we have, because everyone's situation is different. We were very excited to find this website and forum, and we hope to be able to find the answers we need.
