Post: How do I get an address for a garage apartment?

Thank you EVERYONE! Looks like I have some homework with the city. In the mean time I’ll try adding the second mailbox or simply informing the garage apartment renter to get a PO Box until I figure this out.

Hi. I’m looking at purchasing my first property. It has a small main house and a garage apartment in the back. I would like to rent them out separately so I need to understand how I would get a second address for the garage apartment. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!
