Hello, my name is Liliana. I like to go by Lily. I am 26 years old. I just downloaded this app after stumbling upon the BiggerPockets video channel which I found in the real estate Reddit sub. I began to watch shows on DIY and HGTV as a young teenager and was always amazed at how the hosts were able to change a broken down home into something amazing and make profit. I had seriously considered getting into real estate after high school but was persuaded by a lot of my family to pursue a different career path. I did that and got my AA in information technology. Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Think and Grow Rich are the two books that have changed my view on wealth and have inspired me anew to get into real estate. I plan to get my real estate license. I currently live in California but will be moving to Florida in 2 years(not sure which state to get my license in). I plan to flip homes as well as buy and hold. I could use the profits made from my flipping projects to fund my rental properties. BiggerPockets and Reddit have provided me with lots of info. Are there any books you recommend on finances and/or real estate investing? Thanks!
